Our plan for this unique event combines the thrill of a hike with new friends with the gratification of a waste cleanup initiative.
We’ll start our day with the orientation event for the new incoming international Master’s students of the M.Sc. WASTE program, the Generation 23. This will follow a picturesque hike through the stunning Pfaffenwald, immersing ourselves in the beauty of nature. Along the way, we’ll learn about ourselves, the local region and the importance of preserving the environment.
As we hike, we’ll also be armed with eco-friendly cleanup kits. Our mission is to leave no trace along the way and make a positive impact. Participants will have the chance to team up and collect litter and debris, ensuring that the natural beauty we enjoy remains unspoiled. Finally, we will reach Schloss Solitude for a picnic and participate in a tour of the beautiful castle.
Together, we’ll make a tangible difference in our environment while connecting with like-minded individuals who share a passion for both the great outdoors and waste management!
